Cu Chi Tunnels

We spent our day at the Cu Chi Tunnels fascinated by the sheer genius of the Viet Cong, as well as their bravery, resourcefulness and the conditions they lived in. From the unbelievably tiny tunnels (even Ryan didn't manage to stick it out in there for very long) to sandals with the soles pointing the wrong way so you'd confuse trackers, smokeless underground kitchens and re-using unexploded bombs dropped by the Americans, these people were amazing.

^ this smile is pure fear, Kat discovered she has claustrophobia
