HCMC/Saigon - Prostitutes and Sourdough

We both really enjoyed Ho Chi Minh City, although the Vietnamese culture was somewhat hidden behind a mass of neon signs saying either "BUS TICKETS" or "BETTER BUS TICKETS". We made it to both the Chu Chi Tunnels (separate post coming up) and the War Museum, and were both horrified by the exhibits and amazed by the ingenuity of the Viet Cong.

^ We had a bit of a laugh reading the rules at our hotel ^

We understand that half hearted research never got anyone anywhere, and so we trudged from one side of HCMC to the other in the rain in search of the best burger in town.  We decided that teaming up to tackle the 1.5kg monster burger at Black Cat would be fun, but decided our results would be more credible if our judgement wasn't clouded by meat sweats and cheese shivers. Behold, a normal sized burger with bacon, cheese, caramelised onions, lettuce and barbeque sauce on sourdough toast. Deeeeeeelicious! (and a strong contender for the GBL top spot...).

^ Everybody was kung - fu fighting *hyaaa watchaaa*
